Took canoes down the yellow river. Equipment that they rent out here is great. Their store is full of charm.
Kinda grumpy. Had a reservation and was ten minutes past and they chewed me out and were rude. Then they didn't want to provide life jackets for everyone.
Rented me a boat with a hole in it. When they were made aware of it they declined to give a refund or make it right in anyway.

We reserved kayaks from big foot enterprises last week. The morning of our trip they called to inform us that it had rained last night and the river was up a little. I thanked them and said we still planned on coming. We made the two hour drive and arrived on time. After waiting a few minutes somebody showed up to inform us that they would not rent anything today because the water was "high". Since we had planned our weekend around this trip we decided to drive to Cabelas in Prairie du Chien and buy kayaks. We drove back and had a beautiful float on the Yellow river. Along with several other groups that we saw go by. I even scraped my kayak on rocks in some of the riffles. Thanks big foot for incentivising me to buy my first kayak. I'm sure I will have many more fun trips from here on out.
